Sir Isaac Newton

Name a famous Scientist, and the name Isaac Newton is bound to come from someone’s lips. There is a very good reason for that. For one thing, he wore a very large and memorable wig but, more importantly, it was for his Principles Mathematica. This is the book where he lays down all of his scientific discoveries and theories. It showed that if he’d had access to them, he would have needed the services of Lab Relocation Services like those from www.aportglobal.com/lab-relocation-services/ due to the sheer amount of work he completed.

There are many theories and discoveries attributed to Newton. One of the most famous stories is his naming and description of gravity as a force in the world. Sitting in an orchard one summer day, Newton observed an apple falling down. He wondered what it was that pulled the apple down rather than float off into the sky. He realised that the spinning of the planet earth was creating a force. This was gravity.

The other famous discovery launched hundreds of Executive toys. It was the principle that there must be an equal and opposite reaction for every action. The Newton’s cradle demonstrates this. This is a set of suspended ball bearings. If you pull back one at one end and realise it, it will strike the others and send a ripple of energy all the way down to the last ball bearing. This then goes forward and comes back, sending more energy back into the balls.
