Strange things people like to collect

Have you ever considered collecting something? It can be a quite rewarding hobby, especially if you really get into it. It’s nice to become knowledgeable about something and know it inside out. Some people like to collect coins and stamps. However, there are those that have decided to find a more niche thing to collect. Some have so many of the things that only the use of a Self Storage Kendal business, like that at www.andrewporterltd.co.uk/self-storage/cumbria-self-storage/kendal-self-storage can accommodate it. What are some of the wonderful things that they have collected through the years?

Back Scratchers – who doesn’t like the satisfying feel of a good bit of back-scratching now and again? However, I would think that one is enough to last me. Not so for Manfred S Rothstein; he has 675 from 71 different countries.

Bars of Soap. Again, you buy a bar of soap, you use it and move on to the next. Carol Vaughan disagrees. She has over 5,000 of them. Some of them are different shapes and novelty designs, but a lot are just plain bars of soap.

Toenail clippings. With this category, we’ve entered the world of madness. It’s not as if they are the collector’s own. However, there is a caveat to this collection; they were for a medical research project. Still, though, weird.

Daleks. Rob Hull has 571 of them. Before you worry, they aren’t all full-sized ones arranged outside his home, although he does have those, All date back from the Daleks’ first appearance. He saw them as a teenager and was hooked.
