How to create your own Wildlife garden at home.

There are many animal and insect species in the United Kingdom that are on the decline and need our help to provide them with a sustainable natural environment for them to live in.  Our gardens can be like lovely, holiday hotels for the little insects and creatures that visit them.  Stag Beetles, Bats, Song Thrushes, Sparrows and Hedgehogs are all in danger with declining numbers and some are even threatened with extinction.  You can provide a refuge for these wild creatures and encourage them to come into your garden and stay there.

Not only attract real wildlife into your garden, but why not invest in a beautiful Bronze Animal Sculpture and have a long lasting, lifelike reminder of the importance of preserving animals and their habitats.

You can easily attract butterflies and bees into your home-made Nature Reserve by the careful planting of specific flowers.  The bugs and spiders need somewhere dark and quiet to thrive and a simple Bug and Insect Hotel could help bring them into your garden and encourage them to stay. Hedgehog numbers have been in serious decline for many years so if you can help with their survival and provide a safe breeding ground for them it would definitely help this adorable species to survive.

If you have room in your garden then a small pond or water feature could be a useful addition to making your home a better, more authentic Nature Reserve.
