Of course, it is essential that you have the right equipment for walking outdoors in the winter – there are many places that you can get outdoor clothing from including camping shops Ireland such as this one https://basecamp.ie/

One of the most stunning walks to enjoy in the winter is the trek to the top of Pen Y Fan. This is the highest peak in the south of Wales and it is fantastic on a clear winters day, as you will have views across the coast to the south and if you look north you will be able to see as far as Snowdonia.

Another thing that Wales has an abundance of are waterfalls, and during the winter they look as though they are out of a fairy-tale. In the cold temperatures, ice crystals form around the falls and glisten in the winter light. There are many falls that you can visit – the four waterfalls walk in the Brecon Beacons is a popular choice, as well as Nantcol falls in Snowdonia National Park.
