Before you go, there are some things that you should know so that you can make the most of your break. The first thing is that the main tourist season is between November and March, as this season is not as hot, and the weather is easier for getting out and about. From buses to restaurants, the prices are considerably higher than what the locals pay – but the catch is many of the places for residents of the island, don’t actually allow tourists to use them. It is worth researching what you can and can’t do in detail before you go.
